CES IT Architecture Focus Register

This architectural focus register is intended to help quickly identify potential architectural risks, opportunities or other issues in our projects, solutions or IT organization that can impact intended outcomes or IT imperatives. This form will help you quickly document these identified issues and help our architectural teams prioritize focus and engagement as needed.

Focus Register FAQs

  • For now, only the CES IT Architecture team has visibility into all the entries recorded in this register. Entries in this register will be shared with CES leadership and each institution as needed. Entries in this register will also be used to help inform the CES resouce planning process.
  • Recording an item in the Focus Register only takes a few minutes. You'll be asked a few simple questions, and the record will be recorded and sent to the CES IT Architecture Team for review.

    If the architecture team has additional questions, they will reach out to you to schedule a discussion.
  • You will be asked 6 simple questions and also asked to upload any attachments (if necessary).

      Opportunity (O)Factors in the organization environment that are likely to contribute to success in achieving outcomes
      Threat (T)Unfavorable situation in the organization's environment that is potentially damaging to our strategy or organization
